Hayes, a true native of the triangle, was born and raised in North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) and began her career as a labor and delivery nurse at Rex Hospital, where she worked for five years. Committed to her passion for women’s health, Hayes continued to work as a triage nurse at Raleigh OB/GYN while attending graduate school. After forming strong connections with her patients and developing a love for the practice, she graduated with her Masters in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2023 and officially joined the provider team. Outside of work, her hobbies include reading, watching scary movies, playing board games, building large-scale Lego sets, and spending time with her family and friends.
“We moved to Raleigh 7 years ago from Nashville, TN, where I loved my OB. I was very nervous about finding someone I would trust just as easily. So blessed to have found Dr. Segal! Not only is he very professional, he also really listens and doesn’t ignore anything you say. He’s for sure, the best of the best!”
